Description
Yes, yes, YES! You heard us right! PB goes bananas! This is one of our favorite toasties. Have it for breakfast, as a snack, for dessert… for dinner! It’s one of those recipes which you’ll always have the ingredients for in your kitchen. The perfect recipe no matter what you’re up to.
Scale
Ingredients
- 4 slices of white bread
- 1 banana cut in slices
- 1 big tablespoon of Peanut Butter
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- Butter
Instructions
- First, spread some butter on the outsides of the bread.
- Cut the bananas into thin slices, either sideways or just regular.
- Spread a thick layer of peanut butter on both sides of the toastie. Add the banana slices to them, and, if you’re a sweet tooth, go ahead and add some honey to it.
- Squeeze together gently and place the toastie-to-be in either a panini-grill, or toastie-maker. If you’ve cut the banana thin enough, you should be able to use an old school toastie machine. If you’re going for the real deal and have piled up on your vitamin B friend, you might want to consider a panini-grill or sandwich-press.
- Grill for about 5-7 minutes and carefully take out the toastie when nice and crispy.
- Cut diagonally, squeeze some more honey on top or on the side and enjoy!
